ACHILLES GIANNISIS

Achilles is a Greek-American racing driver whose motorsport journey began in the highly competitive world of karting, where he developed his race craft at both national and international levels, competing in the demanding KZ category against some of the best drivers in the world.

His natural pace and technical understanding of car dynamics led to a Formula Renault 2.0 single-seater test. An open-wheel machinery with a direct lineage to Formula 1. The test confirmed what karting had already demonstrated. A driver with the instinct and adaptability to perform at a higher level.

In 2024 he lined up for one of motorsport's most demanding challenges. The 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, behind the wheel of a Citroen C1 Cup car in a field of over 100 competitors. What followed was one of the most telling performances of his career. In the opening three hours he carved through the field, overtaking 40 cars while consistently setting the fastest laps in his class. The pace was undeniable. A mechanical failure mid-race robbed the team of a stronger result, but the car was nursed to the finish. Finishing the race under those circumstances is its own statement.

Following Spa, Achilles continued to build his real-world credentials. He was invited to test a BMW Touring Car, while simultaneously earning his NASA driving instructor certification in New Jersey. This was a formal recognition of technical driving expertise and the ability to communicate car dynamics at a professional level.

Achilles, is constantly perfecting his driving abilities in the highly competitive world of sim racing. His most recent Achievement was qualifying in the top 29 drivers of the Region of the Americas, for the Porsche Esports Super Cup. One of the most prestigious and competitive championships in the world with over 2000 entries. Only the fastest drivers make it through the next round and Achilles was one of them.

Away from racing, Achilles works as a professional automotive designer. His career direction is one that has only deepened his understanding of what makes a car alive. It is the foundation everything ahead is built on.
